Monday 9/24
The doctors are saying good things about how I'm responding to treatment. They say that my body is accepting the chemo well, and it's working. I am still going to have to stay for the long haul, but at least I have some good news. :) I am tired often. The medicine that I'm on I guess is making me tired. Oh, well. It is a small price to pay. Tonight will be short and sweet. I am really in need of some good rest. Hopefully tonight I will get that. I love you all. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers.

HI Bre!
Just wanted to check in with you and to remind you that the chemo could not take the toll that doing yearbook all those hours and hours did for you your senior year! Speaking of yearbook, just a week or so ago, when we were working on the senior section, a yearbook student commmented that she loved the Pink page with all the info about what was happening with the class as they grew up. I said, "That's Bre's page. She worked days and hours on that!
I just want you to know I'm thinking of you and praying for you every day. I have called and left messages on your cell phone. I don't want to wear you out, but I do want you to know I care!
Your Fav ET and Yearbook Advisor!

I am Corby Short, Chelsie's mother. My friend Lisa and I founded a non-profit that provides support, using music therapy, to children and teens battling cancer. Our website is www.rockagainstcancer.org. Check it out, I hope it inspires you.
Lisa is, fortunately and unfortunately, well connected in the cancer community. Lisa's son Gabriel was diagnosed with ALL at the age of two, he is now a thriving, healthy 13 year old.
When Chelsie told me about your diagnosis I called Lisa, she will help you in any way she can. If you or your family need anything at all contact me @ corby@rockagainstcancer.org
Take care, feel free to contact us if we can do anything for you.
