Because her type of leukemia replicates so quickly, she will only have a few weeks, and she should get out of the hospital Saturday. We are going on a trip to North Carolina for a few days and will return to Macon by the middle of next week and Brianne asks to have no visitors at this time. We are planning to have a "life celebration party" in lieu of a funeral/memorial service and it is scheduled to occur on Saturday, June 7th in Macon. More details will follow.
Brianne is at peace with what's happening and has expressed her sense of peace numerous times. She's been incredibly strong and a calming force for all of us. We thank you for your prayers and continue to ask for prayer as we go through this difficult time. Pray for a continued peace, God's comforting hand, and for Brianne's physical comfort as her physical condition worsens.
We will also be making several requests to help out with this celebration, as many of you have indicated that you want to help, but an immediate request we want everyone to send pictures of brianne, or you with brianne, etc to one central location....Chris' email thecigarstoreindian@gmail.com thanks for all your assistance.

God bless you guys. How tough that must be. We are praying and trusting God is in control. Thanks for the update. A "life celebration party" certainly is the appropriate thing. It'll be more of a "see ya later" than a "good bye." blessings, jon brown
BRI BRI! I love you!
Unfortunately, I will not be able to get to any of it. But I know what your family is going through. I lost my mom to cancer about 5 years ago. I cannot say that I know what you, Bri, are going through. But I do love you and always will. We do not know each other well, but the time we had to get to know each other I found out what a wonderful person you are. I certainly hope that your family is able to find quick closure (it is certainly easier to say good bye during an illness rather than a quick death). Anyway, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
hey brianne! i am so sorry to hear about what is going on. i read the last posts your brothers sent and i have some pics that i would like to send, but they are hard copies and so what would be my best way to send them. they are of the two of us back in 8th grade, remember, the painting that you, leeann, and i painted about the holocaust. anyways, i love you very much and you and your family are in my prayers. please let me know how i can get those pics to you guys. i will be in milledgville the day of the celebration and i would like to attend, so i need to know where and what time. if someone could email me and let me know. my email is hay_hay86@hotmail.com. love you guys and hope to hear from you soon!
A different phase, indeed. One that no family should have to go through, but our Savior does not promise that to us. He promises eternal life with Him for those that believe. I can't imagine your heartache right now. I'm praying for strength and comfort (physical and emotional) for all of you. My hurt hearts for you. Love,
Natalie
